Does anyone know if our practice could provide immunizations to the parents of our patients and get paid for it? I assume if the parent was covered by a PPO plan it would not be a problem, but what about plans that require PCP's? The immunization we would like to be able to give would be pertussis.

Your best bet would be to review your payer contracts to see if contractually you would be able to submit a claim for a parent. You might also want to see if your payers would allow you to bill the parent a flat fee to be paid out of pocket.
