How often practices does have connection between coding and revenue departments? Is n't that it is very important to schedule meeting between different departments?Why organizations forget to take advantage of simple change? Is their anyways to resolve these common mistakes? Anyone...

Meeting between coders and Revenue Cycle managers

As a business manager, I did have monthly meetings with my doctors and nurse practitioners, one of my senior billing specialists and also my quality programs specialist. We let the providers know what was affecting appeals, coding changes, reimbursement changes, where we were strong in our quality programs, etc Each month I gave my providers a challenge of 3 areas to focus on and we would revisit the next month.
 
Yes, it is very important to set up meetings within your practice to keep track of revenue and to discuss changes in guidelines....
