I have a physician questioning a recent audit where she was penalized for having the MA drop the template on her new patient visit note. The MA did the ROS and vitals and the physician took possession of the note and completed the HPI and exam and MDM. Does anyone know where I can find anything about regulations on importing of templates? The MA only does this for new and consult patients. Not the follow up visits.
