pt came into the office on a Friday in retention. In the office, provider performed urethral dilation with attempted catheter placement. STill unable to place cath so we went to MHG.

1st attempted with local anesthesia only. cysto with urethral dilation. STill unsuccessful at getting catheter in.

then gave him anesthesia & performed cystoscopy (2nd time) with urethral dilation (3rd time). This time also had difficult cath placement.

All on same DOS and the patient has Medicare primary and BCBS secondary.

is going to happen, but just hoping you have some ideas to get maximum reimbursement since it took the provider all day.

THANK YALL FOR YOUR HELP AS ALWAYS!!
