Wiki in office x-ray

Are you using the C-Arm for diagnostic films, or for fluoroscopic guidance as a part of the injection procedure?

If it is imaging or guidance needed for the procedure, that would be considered incidental/inclusive to the CPT for the procedure and not separately billable. If it is a separately identifiable (and as mentioned above, medically necessary) diagnostic film that is not a required and normal part of the procedure itself, then it may be appropriate to bill it.

The C-Arm is being used to determine what level the injection would need to be performed on. So when the patient comes in for an office visit and they need to determine what level an injection is needed are we able to bill the imagining with the office visit?
