Hello, I am auditing some records and need some input on "Incident-To" billing? Does anyone out there have experience with this that can assist me? I would appreciate it!

Medicare (CMS) has a great deal of information with regards to the incident-to guidelines.

If you've read through the incident-to guidelines already and still have questions, send me a PM.

Incident to question

We have a group practice and on Weds our GYN who is an MD is here. She can be a supervisor for our ARNP since she is a MD correct?

The supervising MD must be in the same specialty as the provider that ordered the visit and wrote the initial plan of care that the ARPN is following.
