My provider performed a left anterolateral thoracotomy code 32100 and infraclavicular incision to control bleeding. The notes for the incision read:

There appeared to be no injury to the lung, but it appeared that the subclavian artery and/or vein had been injured and this hematoma had ruptured through into the chest cavity and was compressing the left chest. A counterincision was made under the infraclavcular region and dissection was proceeded to help try and maintain proximal and distal control.

This is from a gunshot. Would I use 37616 to report this?

Thanks
