Our surgeons put 'incisional' negative pressure wound VACs on surgical incisions in high risk patients. The Prevena system is an example of one type. I'm assuming this can not be billed. It's not placed into a wound, but rather on the surface of a closed surgical incision, and doesn't involve cutting and fitting sponges, etc.
Does anyone have input / experience with this?
Thanks,
Cindy
