How would you code an incomplete colonoscopy with polyp removal?
 
Since the polyp was removed before termination of the procedure was terminated then you would still code the 45385 with a 53 modifier. If the termination of the procedure was due to a poor prep I have found that it helps to use a secondary dx of V64.1 a lot of insurers will process the claim wihtout the need for sending documentation. Hope this helps
