Hello, the new decision tree for incomplete colonoscopies has caused a bit of confusion. Would you code a colonoscopy to the distal rectum with hot snare polypectomy as 45385-52 (facility) or 46611?
His intention was a full colonoscopy, but had to stop at the distal rectum due to poor prep.
Thank you.
 
with the new tree you would use 45309-flex sig with snare polypectomy. He did not reach the splenic flexure so goes in as being a flex sig.
