Wiki Infantile eczema

I am having problems with the diagnosis L20.83 Infantile (acute) (chronic) eczema. The insurance company is saying that this dx is not payable with a child that is 16 months old. They are telling me the dx is age related like Z00.110, Z00.111 or Z00.129. I do not see that, the ICD10 book says it is a Pediatric code that can be used between the ages of 0-17. Am I missing something?

you are correct and the insurance company is wrong. id maybe copy the page from the ICD book and circle the P and fax to the payer

We have the same issue, I appealed with the copy of the page, insurance denied that appeal.
