Does anybody know what CPT code to use for "infiltration of pump pocket?" I will post the dictation as well...
Following informed consent, the patient was taken to the procedure room and placed in prone position. All noninvasive monitors were applied. The patient received IV sedation without complications. After prepping and draping in a sterile field, her pump pocket was infiltrated with 10mL of 0.5% Marcaine with 40mg Depo-Medrol. The procedure was terminated and the area cleaned. The patient had resolution of pain. The patient will be reevaluated in the near future.
Pre and Post Op Diagnosis is pump pocket area pain.
