I am looking for confirmation regarding Initial Couples Therapy CPT code. If we have new couple coming for a therapy which Initial /Intake code is appropriate? From my understanding 90791 is used as Couple Intake as well as Individual Intake and then CPT 90847 is used for follow up couples therapy session. Please let me know if there were updates regarding Initial Couples therapy CPT code and if some other code is used for Initial Couples therapy session. I really appreciate guidance on this one .
