When a patient presents with sleep apnea well controlled in CPAP, and the provider recommends continuing with CPAP therapy, should this be considered 'minimal' risk of morbidity or 'low' risk on the MDM table 3rd column? Same question for a patient who is started on CPAP therapy for the first time, is this 'minimal' or 'low' risk on the MDM table? Does anyone know of any reference materials pertaining to CPAP therapy and MDM?
