Can anyone confirm how their office bills injections for Sandostatin-LAR? I have been seeing these injections recently, used for patients with carcinoid syndrome, and with the research I have done I believe they should be coded as 96372 for the administration- although I have been seeing them come thru coded as 96401. The company that makes this drug says the administration should be coded as 96372 and I've also spoken with a pharmacist, but would also like opinions of anyone else who sees this injection regularly.
