Wiki injection for bursitis post THA

I am needing some assistance and I'm sure this is so simple but for some reason I cannot recall- what modifier would I need to put on code for an injection performed for trochanteric bursitis following a total hip arthroplasty while the pt is still within the 90 day postoperative period? can you please help? thanks

58,79, or 78 accordingly.

Modifier 58 is only appropriate if he states in the original operative report that he plans on doing another service within the global period. if its related and unplanned its 78 if its unrelated to the surgery (on the other side) then you would use the 79.
