After much research I'm having a problem on billing 64640. The physician is injecting a neurolytic into a Neuroma, but it's not a Mortons Neuroma. We typical bill a ICD-10 of Neuroma Other G57.8- and it's hit and miss on payment. When you look up the LCD on 64640 the only medical necessary ICD-10 is the Mortons Neuroma code G57.6 per CMS. Am I missing something here? I don't want to bill a Mortons Neuroma dx if it's not considered a Mortons Neuroma.
