Wiki Injection for Subglottis stenosis

Hi, Steroid injection was done for subglottis stenosis via direct laryngoscopy. Been reading the correct CPT code is 31570 or 31571. (injection into the vocal cords) Can someone explain why we would use these codes and not 31599?

No 31570/31571 is injection of vocal cords. I would code the 31599 injection larynx direct laryngoscopy.

And I would equate 31599 to 31570 in box 19 for pricing of 31599 since the injection is a larygnoscopic assisted injection in the larynx, just further down, below the vocal cords.
