one of the providers in our office gave an injection of kenalog near an incision of his patients skull. Any suggestions of what cpt code I could use? thanks.
 
Kenalog is J3301 each unit is 10 mg. As for the injection code, was it a muscle that was injected, a joint, ligament?? You can look at the codes 20550 for tendon sheath/ligament injections. 20605 or 20610 for joint injections or 20552 or 20553 for muscle trigger point injections. Or if it was a nerve block? you can look at the codes in the 644** range.
