Hello Everyone...

I am confused about using units of - Injection, betamethasone acetate 3 mg and betamethasone sodium phosphate 3 mg
As per my note provider has been given 12mg of Celestone(betamethasone acetate 3 mg and betamethasone sodium phosphate 3 mg) Inj. multidose vial.

How many units do I have to bill with J0702 for 12mg?
2Units or 4Units?

Appreciate Your Support!!!

Hi Chandani91 :)
Id use the 2 units(6x2) from info above
I hope this data helps you

I agree with answer! If you take each term literally, I think you arrive at 2 units for billing purpose.

And means "+" therefore: 3+3=6; the bottle says 6mg/mL; the code says 6mg (3+3, taken literally). If the doctor documents 12 mg, taken literally, it's 2 units.
