I have a question in regards to having to use NDC# on the claim. I am trying to bill a Depo Testosterone. The office I am billing for only carries the 40mg multiuse vial. But, only 100 mg was given. Do I bill the J1070 OR J1080? If I bill J1070 my NDC# won't match what was given. If I bill J1080 I am overcharging the patient. Correct me if I am wrong, but I didn't think I could bill for the waste since its a multi use vial. I have the same situation with my Depo Medrol too. Please help.
