If a patient had a Coronary bypass grafting by 1 physician on 9/12/14, then another physician saw the patient on 9/15/14-9/18/14 , and billed a 99232 for all 4 dates would I use a modifier 24 on the 99232? The CC says chest pain/shortness of breath.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :confused:
 
Inpatient question

Is this other physician in/from the same practice, same tax ID?
If not, then you would not need to append a mod -24 on his Sub care days.
If other Dr. is from same prac/tax ID, then sub care days would be covered under global.
