has anyone ever billed for this in a asc. i have cpt code 63685 but does not cover the cost of my battery.

(These are my opinions and should not be construed as being the final authority. Other opinions may vary.)

I bill for IPGs in an ASC setting. For Medicare, 63685 is a device intensive procedure, and the reimbursement includes a fee for the IPG. For other carriers, bill L868x HCPCS code with your markup, and keep your fingers crossed. If I have not answered your question, please let me know.
