A patient was in the office and had to be administered insulin subq. Are we able to charge for this? I seem to remember something about this being a self administered drug so we can't charge. He was also given Rocephin IM on the same visit. Also, what injection code do we charge for the Rocephin if we use 96372 for the insulin (that is if it can be charged). Do I charge for 2 injections? As you can tell I am confused with this.
