Insurance Revenue Low for July?

Has anyone out there also heard that July is historically a low month for practice revenue? I heard a long time ago that insurance companies hold payments during July for their fiscal year end. I'm wondering if anyone has any information to back that up?

I have notice this for about 10 years....That is why they say that your office or practice should not have all or most of your income coming from one or two big ins co's... :rolleyes: For example, having 60 percent of Medicare pts or 60 percent of Aetna pts.....
