Wiki Insurances credits over 2 years old

Cleaning up after an outsourced billing agency and finding multiple insurance credits that 2 years old or older-Have reviewed EOBs and they are true overpayments. They were never recouped by the payers. What do you do with these credits now? Is there ever a time you can remove them from A/R?
