In reading my operative note, there is mention of an interrupted stitch of 2-0 Vicryl, then an interrupted stitch of 3-0 Vicryl. Is that a closure? What is a Vicryl?;)

What is a vicryl?

Synthetic, slowly absorbed surgical suture material made of copolymer of lactide and glycolide, available as a braided suture.

yes it is a closure. Vicryl is the material for example like nylon stitches. Most simple closures are included in the global package. Make sure you read the overviews in your cpt book.
