Need help with a denial

Admit date 10/10/2017 DC date 10/19/2017
Can a provider bill claim type 112 with dates 10/10/2017-10/18/2017 and later send type 114 with the DC date?

I'm getting billing error from the insurance company

Maybe. Some Medicaid payers have a minimum number of days needed before you are allowed to interim bill a hospital stay. you should check with your state Medicaid to see what the policy is for interim billing.
