I have been assigned the task of creating an internal audit process of our charge tickets and medical records.

If someone could assist me with some guidelines or an outline of what steps I should include in this process I would appreciate it.

Whatever information someone can assist me with is greatly appreciated.

We're in the process of developing something too, but I haven't gotten much response from the forum on it. I did some online research on my own and there are tools and forms on a few insurance websites for auditing. Try Blue Cross and CMS to start with. There are some education companies out there too that have books, DVD's, and other auditing tools available for sale.
