I am trying to locate a code for the removal of an internal bone stimulator. I'm not having any luck. I keep coming back to the unlisted code 20999. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have used removal of implant, deep (20680) - if it's deep, of course. To me, the buried wire, pin, screw are EXAMPLES of implants ("eg"), so I don't know why you couldn't use it for bone stimulator removal. Anybody else have any ideas? I could very well be wrong & unlisted may be more correct.
