Help.
Does anyone know where I can find information on translators and who is responsible
for paying...
Is the clinic responsible?
The patient?
Can we bill insurance?
We have many clients who do not speak English and need someone to translate or
need sign language.
We cannot find any documentation on how to handle this.

I work at a doctors office but we are owned by a hospital and the hospital supplies us with certified translators for our patients but when I was in private practice we supplied and paid for the translators ourselves. You could not bill the insurance for this cost either. Here is a little article I found also but I'd be interested to hear what other members have to say.
