When a patient is in the 90 day global of getting a full interstim implanted (64581,64590) and then come back in for a post op visit and the physician interrogates and does some program changes (95971 or 95972) is anyone charging this with a 58 modifier or are you just charging a global visit (99024)?

Since the 95971/95972 does not have a global period assigned to it. I have been billing the additional programming if needed without the 58 modifier. In the 2019 AAPC Procedureal coding expert the 58 modifier is not applicable with the 95971, or 95972.
