Patient presents with pathological IT femur fracture (osteoporosis). Surgeon wants to bill 27245 with 27187. Can the 27187 be billed if there is no separate incision/plating? He placed a 10x380 TFN.
My gut says no, but I can't find any documentation to share with the surgeon.
