1. Can we bill for femoral arterial run, with or without closure device placement

2. Can we bill for multiple distinct branch vessel embolizations for AVM/epistaxis/fistula or multiple aneurysms individually coiled in same sitting?

3. Can you bill for multiple aneurysms if you place a single pipeline over multiple aneurysms

4. Can you bill for intracranial stenting when stent/coiling

5. Can you bill for balloon remodeling

6. What are the appropriate codes to use for bilateral transverse sinus venograms and superior sagittal sinus venogram. Are there codes for transducing venous pressure measurements?

7. What is the minimum duration of injection to qualify for infusion therapy (for thrombolysis or vasospasm)?

8. Can we bill for assistant surgeon for complex endovascular cases requiring 2 operators (pipeline, glue embo, etc)

Answer:
1. No, femoral run is bundled into closure device
2. For AVM and epistaxis, one charge per surgical field. For aneurysm, code per aneurysm.
3. Single charge
4.NO, stent is part of the coiling.
5.Need more info. in what is being done.
6. 75870 - Superior Sagittal sinus venogram. Pressures are bundled into exam.
7. 60 mins. for thrombolysis, vasospasm is coded per vascular family.
8. Cannot find if you can or not, I would bill it.
