I need help on how to bill out an Intravascular Ultrasound. I only find an add on code for this, but our physician only did the ultrasound.
Indication: This is a 65 year old gentleman, a patient of Dr. ____ who was referred for intravascular ultrasound of the proximal right coronary artery following cardiac catheterization revealing approx 75% lesion as well as ongoing symptoms of fatigue, sob, in conjuction w/ a previously adnormal stress test,,,,,,,
Procedure technique: patient was prepped...... Intravascular ultrasound of the mid right coronary artery revealed 55% stenosis. Instravascular ultrasound of the proximal right coronary artery revealed 23% stenosis. patient tolerated the procedure well.
Can someone tell me what I should be looking at to bill this, or if it is even billable.
Thank you,
Rob
