Child pt seen in pediatrics on 8/5 with sinusitis. Next day 8/6, child injures foot and seen in pediatrics with closed facture treatment. The injury did not occur on 8/5 but would it still require modifier 57?
 
Yes. 28475 on 8/6. The patient was seen the day before the injury for sinusitis. No injury had occurred on 8/5.
