Is a phlebotomy performed in the office excluded from the SNF consolidated billing?

Patient came into our doctors office and doctor performed a phlebotomy, is this included or excluded from the SNF consolidated billing services?
Doctor wants to know if we bill for it, if we will get paid?

Therapeutic phlebotomy (CPT 99195) is not on the list of codes excluded from SNF consolidated billing, so you will not be able to obtain payment from Medicare Part B. Your office should bill the SNF directly for this since it is included in their Part A reimbursement.

You can find the complete list of codes excluded from consolidated billing here: https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Billing/SNFConsolidatedBilling/2019-Part-B-MAC-Update.html
