Is mod. 52 needed on 55250 when semen analysis is done by an indepenent lab?

Hi,
We do vasectomies in our office. The semen analysis is done at another lab, we do not have credentials to perform the lab.

So, do I need to add modifier 52 to procedure 55250 when done in office?

Is there any written documentation that speaks to this.
