Our clinic is Family Practice and one of our providers specializes in diabetes. She wants to start something where her patients will send in their blood sugar meter readings from home to her by email and she will interprate the readings then email the patients back with the results and educate them on it. Is there a code we can bill for this or does this fall into their previous office visit?

Patient confidentiality

Hope there is some sort of password protection on this or there's a risk of non-authorized persons viewing patient's medical records.

Most email is NOT secure.
