For infusion codes, 96365 and 96366, I see that the infusion needs to be supervised. Who does this supervisor need to be? A physician, NP, RN?? I am only seeing documentation stating 'healthcare professional'. Anyone have any documentation regarding this?

Just some additional information:
The fee schedule has status code "9" for Physician supervision for the 96365 IV drug infusion code (concept doesn't apply).

Article for inpatient services:
Adopted a two-tiered policy for the supervision of certain ?nonsurgical extended duration therapeutic services? such as observation services and various infusions and injections. This policy requires direct supervision only for the initiation of the service, followed by general supervision once the patient is medically stable....
