Wiki IV infusions

If a pt comes in for IV therapy in the morning receives treatment and then leaves, and returns later that day for another infusion, is the second visit considered a new encounter and billable with "initial" therapy codes, or does it have to coded with "additional/sequential" codes?

It is a new initial and will need a 59 modifier or possibly a 76 depending on documentatipn
