If a patient comes thru the ED and was given Etomidate IV push and succinylcholine IV push and then intubated. Patient was given several doses of Nimbex IV pushes and then placed on Propofol sedation. Would the succinylcholine and Nimbex be coded as pushes or are they considered part of the intubation? Would the Propofol be considered moderate conscious sedation or charged as an IV therapy since it was running for 3 hours?
