I have a question about an item that we are going to start using in our ASC and wonder if it is billable and how do I bill for it differently than other procedures. (hcpcs code, revenue code, units, etc..)?

IV Tylenol. OFIRMEV, VL 1000MG/100ML 100ML (24/CS)

This is new and there is supposed to be a way to bill for it. We only give it to spine and uni-knee patients. This prevents them from getting heavy narcotic sedation ? safer and actually relieves pain better. It also relieves PONV by 30%. Its 42.00/vial. Each patient gets one

I would appreciate any help anyone can provide on this.
Thanks!
