How would you code for an attempted IVC retrieval? 37193-53? or just code for the caths and venogram instead? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere!

I recently coded a surgery where the IVC could not be removed, however, it was slightly repositioned during the removal attempt. I used 37192: repositioning of IVC filter, endovascular approach including vascular access, vessel selectin, and radiological S&I,etc.. I hope this helps.
