Some MEDICARE patients will receive 198 units of J0585 and normally we would bill
  • J0585 195 units on line 1 with
  • J0585,JW 2 units on the second line
HOWEVER, with the guidelines stating a maximum of 195 units can be injected should we bill
  • J0585 195 units (injected within the allowable)
  • J0585,GZ 3 units (injected over allowable)
  • J0585,JW 2 units (for waste)
We have begun seeing some denials for the normal scenario and are trying to find a better way.
