Wiki J3301 Aetna denying for allergies

We recently have had Aetna deny our J3301 kenalog shots for allergies. Is this not a covered service anymore. So far it has only been Aetna. It denies as not covered when deemed unscientific. Not sure what to do but need to let providers know so patient's can be aware of cost. Patient's with seasonal allergies live by kenalog shots.

Aetna will deny them for medical necessity. They have a Clinical policy bulletin 0038 that covers it.
