CPT 36200, induction of catheter into aorta for abdominal and peripheral angiography was performed in our office based lab. Place of service 11. Medicare pays this service, however, Blue Cross Medicare Advantage denies this service as invalid place of service based on CMS edit. They paid the S & I , moderate sedation and drug codes but not the primary procedure code. Can anyone please help me with this as I do not know how to get this service paid.
