Well-established medical office near downtown Asheville is currently looking for an experienced Medical Billing/ Coding Specialist. Responsibilities include, filling claims, posting payments, insurance follow-up, appealing denials. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payers, reading and understanding EOB's, ICD-9 and CPT coding. Must have at least two or more years of experience. Certified Coding Profession (CPC) preferred. We are looking for a dependable, self-starter; professional person who has medical billing/ coding and medical computer software experience. Pay DOE.
