Does anyone know the RBRVS for the new 90470 H1N1 admin code?
Are any other offices charging for the admin? Everything I have read states that we can and should. Has anyone heard if commercial payers going to charge a co - pay if we bill for the admin? I have emails out to all my provider reps, but have not heard back yet. Insight/discussion from anyone would be helpful. Thanks:confused:

Hi. From the American Academy of Pediatrics:

"Medicare Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) values are currently being established for code 90470. Toward that end, the American of Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has sent a letter to major carriers urging them to pay no less than current Medicare rates for the administration. You can access that letter at www.aap.org/moc/reimburse/privatesector.htm"

Looks like it's still in the works.
