Hi all - just to solidify my understanding - if my physician does a three compartment synovectomy and a medial and lateral meniscectomy - is my understanding correct that i would bill only the 29880 and not the 29876 along with it since he is in all three compartments?

Thanks for any input.

the synovectomy in the medial and lateral compartment would bundle with the 29880 menisectomy. But you could capture the synovectomy in the patella compartment. I would recommend 29880 29875-59.
